Worship Highlight

There are some GREAT new songs that fit so well with our new sermon series from the book of James, "Faith Practice." This coming Sunday, we'll introduce "Battle Belongs." Be blessed by this great song as you listen and prepare to join God's people on Sunday when we worship together.

New Adult Bible Class

Join us starting this Sunday at 9 a.m. for a combined class in the Gathering Place as different members of Glenwood teach us something that they have learned about God, the Bible, the Christian life, missionary work, and more.  Each Sunday will bring something new. You won't want to miss this time of us learning and growing together.

Ironworks Men's Meeting

Men of Glenwood, join us for our next Ironworks meeting in the Gathering Room at 6 p.m. on June 16.

Karing Kitchen

Our next opportunity to serve will be Monday, June 22, from 4:30–6:30 p.m.

Glenwood 75 Year Anniversary Celebration

As part of our 75th Anniversary Celebration Weekend, join us immediately following Sunday morning worship for a church-wide fried chicken potluck and the return of a cherished Glenwood tradition—the Chocolate Festival!

Fried chicken will be provided, and we invite everyone to bring a favorite side dish to share (click here to sign up). For those who love to bake, this is your chance to show off your chocolate masterpiece! Bring your favorite chocolate dessert to enter into our Chocolate Festival contest, or simply come ready to sample the delicious entries and help celebrate this sweet Glenwood tradition.

Whether you’ve been part of Glenwood for decades or have joined us more recently, we hope you’ll stay after service for great food, fellowship, and a fun afternoon as we celebrate 75 years of God’s faithfulness together.

Meal Train for Glenwood Youth Ministry

Wednesday night is an important part of our youth and student ministry. Each week they gather together for a meal in the Cove before class, and we need your help in feeding this growing group! If interested, click here for the Meal Train, bring a monetary donation to the church office, or contact Andy Albright. Please feel free to stay, dine with, and get to know this great group of kids.

Sermon Series

Faith in Jesus is not practical, but it is practicable.  The teachings of James are life-altering practices informed by a life-shaping trust we have in the King.  Join us for this sermon series Sundays at 10 a.m.

Wednesday Night Series

What does it mean to be people of an open table? Join us Wednesday at 6:30 in the Gathering Room as we take a deep dive into the history of our Stone–Campbell Movement. This journey through history and Scripture will teach us the importance of breaking down the fences that can obstruct the open table that is so central to who we are as God’s people.
