From Shelby Spradlin: "As many know, a close friend of ours lost her daughter in a tragedy. In the middle of Thanksgiving week, while trying to plan a funeral, there was a need for a place and a family meal. I sent one text to Sara, and the Glenwood way showed up, no questions asked, just love in action. So many of you stepped in and contributed that there was plenty of food and enough to provide gift cards to help ease the family’s burden this season. The family has shared how much they felt your love, and that’s exactly what we hoped for. What started as a need became a powerful reminder of what it means to be the body of Christ. Thank you for being that kind of community and gathering around the table to love on our friends. And please continue to lift Jennifer and her son Tate (8 y/o) in your prayers as they navigate life through a new lens."

Donna LaRue's brother, Mark Derr, is doing well following heart bypass surgery. The family appreciates your prayers.

James Stoner has asked for prayers for the nephew of a friend: Can y’all please pray for Bowen Russel and ask God to bring healing in his body. He has brain cancer.

Our deepest condolences to Marion Miller and her family for the loss of her husband, Fred, on Friday. A service will be held on December 29. 

Lasi McArthur has asked for prayer: My sister-in-law had surgery on December 18 to get a cochlear implant and would love prayers for a smooth recovery. Her name is Kim Fuller.

Erica Menera has asked for prayers: Josue will be deployed to Japan at the beginning of the year. Though it is a huge honor, his parents are worried about his safety and his distance from home. Please pray for all of them during this time.

Prayers requested for Cynthia Manning – that she will have relief from her back pain and the physical therapy will be successful.
