Kids and kids-at-heart, mark your calendars for Cookies with Santa on December 6 at 9 a.m. in the Gathering Room! The event is free, and be sure to bring a camera or phone to get pictures with Santa!

Legacy Christmas Choir Concert
Looking for a festive way to enjoy the Christmas season? Head over to the Jan E. Jones Theatre on December 8 at 7 p.m. where our own D.J. Bulls will be directing the talented Legacy choir. Come ready to sing along!
(Park by the theatre, which is on the "back" side of the school closest to the ball fields and faces toward the Loop.)

Soul Sisters Cookie Exchange
Ladies, mark your calendars for a delightful cookie exchange at the home of Virginia Chambers on Saturday, December 13, at 2 p.m.! Please bring 2 dozen cookies to share! Prizes will be given in several categories!

An Evening of Remembrance
Join us Sunday, December 14, at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel as we remember those among our family who have passed away this year. During the service we will read those names aloud.
If a member of your family passed away in 2025, and you would like their name to be included in that reading, please contact the church office.
In addition, we invite everyone to bring an ornament for the Tree of Remembrance in memory of a loved one as well as a framed photo of your loved one to our service. Plan to join us as we remember those who have gone before us and celebrate our upcoming reunion with them during the second advent of Jesus.

Ironworks Men's Meeting
Men of Glenwood, join us for our next Ironworks meeting in the Gathering Room at 6 p.m. on December 16. Bring your dinner!

Carols and Cookies
Join us December 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the Gathering Room for our fourth annual “Carols and Cookies.” Coffee and desserts will be served. Bring your favorite cookies to share (sign up in the foyer)!

Jack Hooper's 90th Birthday Celebration
Everyone is invited to join in celebrating Jack Hooper's 90th birthday on Saturday, December 20, from 2 to 3:30 in the Gathering Place! Please come and enjoy a time of fellowship! Cards are welcomed, no gifts please.

Holiday Schedule
The church office will be closed December 22–26 for Christmas. There will be no classes on Wednesday, December 24.

Ladies' Bible Class
Ladies’ Bible Class meets Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. in the Gathering Room. Our study is, “The Shelter of God’s Promises” by Sheila Walsh. If you have questions, contact Katie Burnett or Gay Pfund.

Wednesday Night Series
What does it mean to be people of an open table? Join us Wednesday at 6:30 in the Gathering Room as we take a deep dive into the history of our Stone–Campbell Movement. This journey through history and Scripture will teach us the importance of breaking down the fences that can obstruct the open table that is so central to who we are as God’s people.

Advent
The Advent season is here! Together, join us as we lean into the period of waiting, longing for, and anticipating the arrival of Christ our Messiah on Sundays at 10 a.m.

Adult Bible Class | The Gospel of John
This fall and spring, we will study the Gospel of John. John's Gospel is thematically and theologically rich. You will undoubtedly be blessed by this study and the people with whom you study it. Join us Sunday mornings at 9 as we get to know Jesus and each other.
